Family Heritage Day @ Old Central Fire Station
Event description
Family Heritage Day is now at capacity!
But there’s still plenty to discover at Old Central Fire Station these Autumn School Holidays - plus we are always free!
If your child has sensory needs, consider visiting during one of our Early Access Sessions, held on the first Saturday of every month. These quieter, more relaxed sessions are a great way to gently explore the station. Click here for more info!

- Craft your own Igor to take home (no spider wrangling required!)
- Romping, bouncing, and galloping in the old horse paddock
- Climb your way to victory in our giant game of Ropes & Ladders
- Battle it out in a family-friendly game of tug-of-war
- Strike a vintage pose straight from our 1905 souvenir book
- Wander around our neighbourhood with our I Spy Trail
- Meet real firefighters and compare their modern fire trucks with our vintage ones
- Finish up with a ride around the block in a vintage fire truck
Bonus: All families who register can pickup a free Be Safe in an Emergency kids activity book!
