    Event description

    This one-day course is suitable for people who know, or are caring for, a person living with dementia. It has been designed to provide families and friends an understanding of dementia, the insights into what happens to a person when they develop dementia and skills to communicate with and support a person living with dementia. It is not suitable for people with a diagnosis of dementia.

    About this Event

    The course has been developed for the families and friends of people living with dementia. If you would like to attend this course and require assistance in organising respite please contact us on 1300 66 77 88.

    The workshop is from 9.30am - 4.00pm (lunch provided).

    Lunch provided on the day consists of a selection of sandwiches, including a vegetarian option. Specific additional dietary requirements cannot be catered for.

    Please note registration is essential and participants must show proof of being COVID-19 double vaccinated.
