What does it mean to honor yourself, your family, and the people around you?

Join jHUB at Wade Oval for Sukkah Village, a hands-on way to explore Sukkot, the Jewish harvest festival that celebrates gratitude and the fall harvest. A sukkah is a temporary outdoor structure traditionally built for Sukkot, where people eat, gather, and spend time together.

Wander through three unique sukkot, including two smaller and one large sukkah, each designed to spark reflection and conversation about what it means to honor yourself, your family, and the world around you. 

Drop in to make Sukkot crafts, enjoy snacks, and learn about the lulav and etrog, four types of plants traditionally brought together and held during Sukkot as part of the holiday's celebration.

Bring your kids, and invite their grandparents, too, for an easygoing afternoon of celebrating, learning, and spending time together.

If you'd like to extend your Sukkot celebrations, visit Sukkah Village anytime throughout the holiday, September 26–October 2, when the installation is open to the public to use.

The Sukkah Village will be in the southwest corner of the park. We'll email you a handy map before the event!

Where should I park? 

Free street parking is available around Wade Oval Drive. There are three parking garages nearby: The CMNH Parking Garage, the Cleveland Botanical Garden Parking Garage, and the Cleveland Museum of Art Parking Garage.
