Event description

Ages 5+ with a Grown-Up Companion

Join Barkindji/Wiradjuri artist Sylvia Healey for a hands-on, creative workshop where kids and their grown-ups will explore the exciting world of printmaking using native leaves and plants. It's all about making, learning and having fun together - kids and grown-ups teaming up to explore nature through art.

The session also includes a guided tour of the Staying with The Trouble and Christian Thompson's: House of Gold exhibitions, offering a chance to see how artists incorporate trees and plants into their work. After drawing inspiration from the exhibitions, you'll return to the studio to experiment with various styles of printing, using natural materials to create beautiful, original artworks.
