Entry instructions

🚗 Entry Instructions Once you arrive at our sign, take the left turn just in front of it—right after you crossed the small bridge—up our driveway running alongside the stream. Please follow this dirt road all the way to the end. You’ll come to a large house on a hill—this is the main Ashram building. We’ll be there to greet you and help you get settled.

Hazards

While Sat Manav Yoga Ashram is a place of peace and healing, it is also a living, rural environment with natural elements to be mindful of. Please take note of the following: Uneven terrain: Many of our trails, driveways, and paths are unpaved and may be rocky, muddy, or steep in sections. Walk with awareness, especially in wet or low-light conditions. Wildlife: The Ashram is home to many animals and insects. Ticks, mosquitoes, and occasional bees are present during warmer months. We recommend using natural bug repellant and checking for ticks after outdoor activities. Low light at night: Outdoor lighting is minimal to preserve natural rhythm. Bring a flashlight or headlamp to safely navigate after dark. Wood-fired sauna and Dhuni fires: These are sacred but active fire elements. Children must be supervised, and guests are expected to use caution around any open flame. Slippery surfaces: mossy outdoor rocks can be slick—move mindfully. Please respect the land, move with intention, and let a resident know immediately if anything seems unsafe. Your care supports everyone’s safety and the sanctity of this place.
