A relaxed and inclusive morning designed for LGBTQIA+ families and allies, this session begins with the reading of a diverse collection of children’s picture story books that celebrate and reflect the richness of different family structures and identities.
 

Following storytime, families are invited to engage in free-flowing creative expression using a range of art and craft materials. This gentle session offers opportunities to explore the felt sense and emotional resonance of the stories through hands-on making, imagination, and shared connection.
 

With picnic rugs set up and a fluid indoor–outdoor space, families are free to move, settle, and create in ways that feel safe and natural. A welcoming and affirming environment for little ones and their grown-ups to connect, express, and belong.
