Family Violence In A Child's World - Specialised Workshop for Practitioners

This workshop is part of the Ovens Murray Community Services Practice and Connection Initiative and is supported by The Ovens Murray Child & Family Services Alliance.

This training will help professionals to:

• Understand what family violence is and how it hurts children
• Understand children and adolescent brain development and how this can be impacted by trauma
• Understand how to pivot blame away from the non-offending parent and keep perpetrators in the picture
• Build skills in talking with children about their experiences and ways to keep them safe.
