The year was 1996, Little Hornet erupted onto the Newcastle band circuit, quick becoming a defining voice of the local music scene. Performing a signature blend of high-energy, fuzzy guitar-driven classic rock, the band regularly drew stand-in-room only crowds, turning legendary venues, the Castle and Fanny's into their personal Cavern Club.

Throughout their stellar run, Little Hornet released 5 album and sold over 10,000 units. Their hit-single, 'C'mon Mrs Jones' achieved top 20success and earned high-rotation airplay nationally, alongside features on iconic video programs RAGE, Channel V and Smash Hits TV. A true powerhouse, Little Hornet performed an incredible 800= exclusive shows at The Castle and Fanny's between 1996 and 2000.
