Event description

At this hands-on workshop for landholders and other interested "citizen scientists", Angelina Siegrist will take us through the:
- ecological and production benefits of protecting and enhancing farm dams 
- practical techniques and strategies
- monitoring techniques including accessible "DIY techniques" consistent with ANU Sustainable Farm Dams brand new monitoring protocols

This workshop is being kindly hosted by Jeremy and Sally Madin at their Merrijig property. It is part of an ecological monitoring on farms series of workshops organised by Pukawidgee Land Management Ltd with support from Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority.  This workshop is organised in conjunction with ANU Sustainable Farms; Up to Us Landcare Network and GeckoCLAN Landcare Network. 

Participants should wear sturdy shoes and bring sun protection and their own water.  Morning tea and a light lunch will be provided.
