Event description

Karen and her team at The Paddock Project are inviting us to have a look around and see what they have been growing in their market garden and Syntropic gardens as part of the amazing NDIS workers program they run there. This is a great example of small-scale farming with a strong community focus. It has become a great hub for others to meet, share, and learn.

Rodrigo, the garden designer and syntropic guru, will lead the tour of the garden and explain the general principles of syntropics. This is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into innovative farming techniques and their application in a community setting.

Small innovative working farms like this are a real treasure, offering a farm stall and production right on the edge of town. Their farm stall is open all week with hours extending to 6pm on Wednesdays.

Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided and the food truck on site will be serving lunch for those wanting to buy a bite to eat after the tour.

Please bring appropriate walking closed shoes, sun protection and water bottle.

Spaces are limited so please purchase a ticket to register your attendance. If your plans change and you can no longer make it please let us know so that we can open your ticket up to someone else on the waitlist.
