Farmhands Camp Choices

This year, we are excited to provide a wide variety of camp offerings. We have one-day camps to multi-day learning adventures. Let’s 'dig in' together! We also have a brand new option for Middle Schoolers. Scroll down to learn more! Our garden and homestead programs allow youth to 'dig in' and learn how to grow their own food, participate in farm and ranch life, interact with farm animals, and play! We offer programs for children of all ages, from 0 and up!

FAQs

  • Are there Scholarships available?

Yes, we offer scholarships to families in need for Farmhands camps. Please apply at this link: https://forms.gle/5Rc9mFRxMTSSXYHx8

  • How do I transfer my registration from one camp to another?

Transfers are the first option if you aren’t able to attend the camp dates you initially chose. All transfers are dependent on space availability in the camp you desire to transfer into. To transfer your camp from one to another, please contact Tracy Green at tracy@guidestonecolorado.org or by phone at 512-656-7430.

  • What if my child is 4 years old at the start of camp?

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child in our Farmhands Camp program! We truly appreciate your enthusiasm and understand that you have a 4-year-old who may be advanced for their age. However, our camps have an age requirement policy to ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all the children attending.

Our programs are designed specifically for children ages 5-11, as we have structured activities and expectations that are best suited to this age range. While we recognize that some kids may have advanced skills, we've found that adhering to these age requirements helps to maintain an age-appropriate experience for everyone involved.

We do offer our Little Sprouts/ Little Spurs program for our younger kiddos! Designed for 4-year-olds and younger, accompanied by a grown-up to explore the Farm and the Ranch on Thursday mornings.

We can't wait for your little one to join us next summer!

  • What is the refund policy?

We encourage all registrants to select camp dates they are confident they can attend at the time of registration. However, we understand that unexpected changes or unforeseen circumstances may arise. Refunds are available 14 days before the start of camp for 80% of your registration price. No refunds are granted for changes made within the 2 weeks before your camp start date.  For other extenuating circumstances, please contact tracy@guidestonecolorado.org.

    • Refunds will not be given for no-shows.

    • Refunds are not given if a child must be removed from a program. Per Guidestone’s Discipline Policy, we will work with parents to develop a plan of action if other appropriate disciplinary action is ineffective. If the child continues to behave inappropriately and/or interferes with the safety or learning of other students, Guidestone reserves the right to remove a child from camp. It is imperative that one child does not hinder the experiences of other participants. Guidestone has a zero-tolerance policy toward bullying and physical/violent behavior.

    • Refunds will not be issued for extreme extenuating circumstances that force Guidestone to cancel a day’s Farmhands camp.

For more information on refunds, transfers, and canclations please reference page 6 in the parent handbook.
