Farmsafe Australia Ag Day Conference
Description
National Ag Day Conference 2026
Set the Standard, Show 'Em How It's Done
What does leadership in farm safety really look like? How do we move beyond compliance to create safer behaviours, stronger cultures and healthier farming communities?
The 2026 Farmsafe Australia National Ag Day Conference brings together farmers, industry leaders, researchers, government and innovators from across Australia to explore one of agriculture's biggest opportunities; creating a culture where safer choices become the normal way of doing business.
Built around the theme Set the Standard Show 'Em How It's Done, this year's conference will take delegates on a journey from understanding why change matters through to how we create lasting change on farms, in workplaces and across our industry.
The program will explore the latest thinking on farm safety, leadership, behaviour change, child safety, data, innovation and emerging risks, while showcasing practical ideas that participants can take home and apply in their own businesses and communities.
Throughout the conference, internationally recognised behaviour and innovation expert Dom Thurbon will weave together the key themes and insights from each session, helping delegates connect the dots between leadership, decision-making and lasting behaviour change before delivering the closing keynote.
For the first time, all six members of the Safer Farmers Ambassador Network will take to the stage to deliver their own keynote presentations. Representing different industries, regions and lived experiences, they'll share personal stories of leadership, resilience and practical action, demonstrating what it means to lead by example and inspire safer farming across Australia.
The conference will also feature leading voices from across agriculture and beyond, tackling topics including:
Leadership and culture
Behaviour change and decision-making
Women in agriculture
Child safety and role modelling
Farm safety data and emerging trends
Whether you're a farmer, advisor, industry representative, educator, researcher or policymaker, you'll leave with fresh ideas, practical tools and renewed motivation to help shape the future of farm safety in Australia.
This isn't a conference about telling people to work safely. It's about understanding what influences decisions on farm, celebrating those leading by example and exploring how we create lasting change across Australian agriculture.
