Refund policy

Event Terms and Conditions By registering and obtaining a ticket for FarmX Presented by TasFarmers ("TF") you agree to the following: Registration and Ticketing: All participants must register for the event and obtain valid tickets. Registration and ticketing details will be provided on the event website or designated platform. Tickets are considered non-transferable and must not be resold or exchanged without prior written approval from Tasfarmers. Event Program: TF reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or change the venue of an event due to circumstances beyond our control. TF will make reasonable efforts to inform attendees of any such changes with as much notice as possible. TF reserves the right to change the program at any time, making every effort to ensure a program of an equivalent standard. Event Conduct: TF reserves the right to prohibit entry or eject any person from an event based on behavior deemed inappropriate by TF staff, its agents, and others working under its authority. Image Release: Photos and/or video may be taken by TF at FarmX and used for marketing purposes without further notice or permissions required. By registering for TF events, participants grant permission to TF, its agents, and others working under its authority to use their image/likeness. Participants agree that they are not entitled to any payment or remuneration for the use of their image/likeness and release TF from any claims related to the use of such images or video. Collection of Data: TF respects your privacy and complies with the The Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles. Personal information collected is for the purposes which are directly related to our functions or activities and only when it is necessary for or directly related to such purposes. Liability: TF will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or theft sustained by participants during the event. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and advised to take necessary precautions. Payment: Payment for bookings must be made before the registration closing date to secure your attendance. Failure to receive a confirmation email will result in exclusion from the event. Full payment is required by the event date to attend. Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests must be made within the specified time frame set per event. Cancellations can be made through the ticketing portal, and refunds will be issued to the original bank account used for the purchase. All cancellations will incur a small merchant fee as declared on the ticketing portal. Cancellations made outside of 14 days from the event date will result in a refund of 97% of the original ticket price. Cancellations between 6 – 14 days of the event date, will result in a refund of 50% of the original ticket price. Cancellations within 5 days of the event, will receive no refund on the original ticket price. In unforeseen circumstances, TF may refund cancellations at its discretion less any resource commitments made on your behalf. By participating in TF events, you agree to abide by these Terms and any additional instructions or regulations communicated by TF. TF reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically.
