Therapist are already feeling changes in the tissue every day
This workshop encourages them to ask:
Is this tissue needing more pressure or does it need better fluid movement, nervous system support or lymphatic support first?
They currently can feel:
Puffiness
Tight fascia
Guarded tissue
Post treatment rebound
Inflammation
Heaviness
Tissue that feels stuck or congested
Clients who cannot tolerate deep pressure.
Learning Outcomes
Therapists should be able to:
Understand the relationship between fascia, fluid and the lymphatic system
Recognise when tissue may need a gentle approach after deeper work
Understand why heavy pressure is not always the answer
Use an opening lymphatic sequence safely
Integrate gentle lymphatic hand techniques into their existing massage, or bodywork session
Adapt pressure, pacing and treatment for sensitive, swollen, inflamed or guarded tissue.
