FASD and Autism – Can you spot the difference?
Description
FASD and Autism - Can you spot the difference?
Join us for this webinar designed to develop your understanding of two common neurodevelopmental disorders - Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Is it important to know the difference? How are they diagnosed? Which is the most prevalent? What is the one question that can differentiate between the two? Can they co-exist? What are the functional impacts for individuals? What is the difference for interventions and supports?
We will address these questions and more over a 1.5 hour webinar on Friday 20 September 11:30am - 1:00pm (AEST). The session will include valuable insights and experiences from practitioners and parents/caregivers.
Don't miss this opportunity to learn about FASD / ASD and understand the impacts on everyday function and participation.
This session is proudly presented by the National Organisation for Fetal Alcohol Disorders (NOFASD) and is being held in FASD Awareness Month.
