Did you know FASD is 2 ½ times more prevalent than Autism Spectrum Disorder yet often not explored as part of a comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessment.

NOFASD Australia is the peak advisory body providing a strong voice for individuals & families living with FASD & to promote prevention, intervention & management.  

NOFASD is offering training for psychologists to understand and diagnose Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. The full day workshop will include;  

  • What is FASD?  
  • Aetiology and Epidemiology  
  • Lifelong impacts of FASD 
  • Diagnostic Process  
  • Interview  
  • Talking with mothers about their prenatal alcohol use  
  • Facial Features  
  • Neurodevelopmental Domains - assessments and analysis 
  • FASD and trauma  
  • FASD and Common co-occurring conditions  
  • Report Writing 
  • Interventions, supports and the NDIS 



COST: $450 (plus GST & BF) / person
