Online Workshop: FASD Essentials
Event description
FASD Essentials
This session provides an introduction to Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), with a focus on what it is and how it can affect children in everyday life. We will look at how brain differences can show up in areas such as learning, behaviour, and routines, and what this means for permanent carers in their daily role.
This session is presented by Prue Walker, an experienced social worker specialising in Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). The series is designed for permanent care and adoptive families, with each 20-minute session focusing on a different aspect of FASD, followed by time for questions and discussion.
