Designed for those who work with or care for those with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum disorder and will cover the following:
- Understand the impact of prenatal alcohol exposure on the developing fetus.
- Understand the process of FASD diagnosis and assessment
- How FASD presents in children, young people and adults
- How to work effectively with those with FASD using positive behaviour support
- Links to online resources and referral pathways for ongoing support
- Celebrate the unique skills and contributions that those with FASD offer.

This training will be hosted by ThIS Training, a Lismore based training organisation that develops and delivers evidence informed workshops and training packages to individuals and organisations engaging with people of all ages with complex behaviours. Our expertise ranges across neuroscience, developmental trauma, therapeutic practice, disability & inclusion, FASD, vicarious trauma, PTSD and education support.
