What does the future of fashion look like in Canterbury and Aotearoa? With special guest Peri Drysdale, Metropol magazine brings together a panel of voices across Ōtautahi that features our brightest rising stars as well as established fashion players for a candid conversation around everything fashion.

What is it look like to work backstage at New Zealand Fashion Week, or style a magazine cover? With everything the industry is facing right now – fast fashion, tech giants, climate change – how can young designers, stylists, models, photographers, and more, break into the industry? What can Kiwi fashion offer to the world? And how can Kiwi fashion stand out in a loud global market?

Hosted by Metropol editor Nina Tucker, speakers include:

Peri Drysdale, Untouched World and Untouched World Foundation founder

Skye Zöfia Marryatt, stylist and fashion design graduate

Mima Lewis Gourdie, NZ Fashion Week 2026 Head Dresser and fashion design graduate
