For the 1 year anniversary of FBR café we are bringing you the best, the grooviest, the juiciest sounds from Aus and the globe with my personal favourites gracing the cube for an evening of dance.

It was just under a year ago, I had the idea to host coffee tastings with DJs in our research lab. Fast-forward a couple of months and we had Osmosis play our first festival, around that time I remember telling my younger sister that I would get one of our favourite dance music DJs in there.

Its now April 2025 and we have Scrappa from Osmosis Jones' label and Revolve (the lovely people who brought Dr. Dubplate into the cafe) debuting an EP in the space, Bouki who has practically been our music guardian angel finally doing a cafe set, Bella Bella who did the first garage /UK bass set at the café and helped us define our sound coming back for a recording (she played even before FBR did video), Deens who is a BIRTHDAY it is (and who basically foretold our success like it was a prophecy), and SILVA BUMPA (me and my sis' favourite garage DJ we have been banging since Dreaming in 2022) entering the space fresh off a new EP and Dayshift.

This event is BYO but to support our amazing music exhibitions there will be a $10 corkage per person if you bring drinks. Please be respectful. Don't spill stuff on the floor, it's sensitive. Other ways you can support us is ordering coffee throughout the event :)
