She currently runs "Female Founders in FinTech, InsurTech, & Mobility" global accelerator programs, an ecosystem of 500+ women-led startups, 500+ mentors, judges, & ambassadors. She has over 15 years of experience across financial services, insurance, mobility & telecom. As an executive in both Fortune 100 companies as well as start-ups, she has led strategy, business development, partnerships, investments, product and marketing launches, and developed and ran innovation programs and large scale events, with a proven record of driving revenue, results, and differentiation for her employers while building & supporting strong teams. Introducing Jennifer Tegan (Managing Director of NY Ventures). Jennifer is Managing Director of New York Ventures (a division of Empire State Development) which is a $100 million investment fund allocated towards direct equity investments into promising Seed and Series A round start-ups in New York Ventures. Prior to joining Empire State Development Jennifer spent 18 years with Cayuga Venture Fund where she invested in and supported entrepreneurs in technology-based start-ups. Jennifer is also a member of the Board of Directors of Tompkins Financial Corporation and its affiliate bank, Tompkins Trust Company as well as serving the industry on the boards of the National Venture Capital Association and the Upstate Capital Association of New York.
