Four Different Events

Event 1: Make
Fearless Connections is a four-part social series for young women aged 18–25 in Canberra. Our first event is "Make: Candle Making" on Monday, 28 September 2026. Connection is easier when there is something to do. In this relaxed workshop, you’ll create your own candle, choose a scent blend and spend time with other young women in a space designed for showing up solo and making new connections. During the workshop, you’ll be guided through the candle making process step by step, explore different scent combinations and create a candle to take home. Along the way, we’ll use scent, memory and creativity as gentle prompts for conversation about comfort, confidence, friendship and the people and places that make us feel most ourselves. Come solo. Leave connected.

Event 2: Play
Fearless Connections is a four-part social series for young women aged 18–25 in Canberra. The second event is "Play: Halloween Game Night", on Monday, 26 October 2026. Arrive in costume and play Halloween-themed trivia, bingo, snacks and board games over an evening curated for connection. We’ll start together, then break into smaller groups to play a board or card game of your choice. This Fearless Connections event is designed for women aged 18–25 who want to show up solo, do something fun and meet other young women along the way.

Event 3: Move
Fearless Connections is a four-part social series for young women aged 18–25 in Canberra. The third event is "Move: Urban Orienteering", on Monday, 23 November 2026. Move is an urban orienteering challenge through the city. We’ll start at the Fearless Women office, where you’ll be placed into a small team before heading out to follow clues, find checkpoints and work together along the way. This event is designed for women aged 18–25 who want to show up solo, try something different and meet other young women through a shared activity.

Event 4: Give
Fearless Connections is a four-part social series for young women aged 18–25 in Canberra. The fourth and final Fearless Connections event is "Give: Roundabout Canberra Volunteer Night", on Monday, 14 December Just in time for the holidays, we’ll help sort and fold baby clothes for local families, taking part in practical, hands-on work that supports the Canberra community. Giving together is one of the easiest ways to connect. There is something to do, a shared purpose and a reason to talk that does not feel forced. You can show up solo, work alongside other young women and be part of something useful before the year ends. This Fearless Connections event is designed for women aged 18–25 who want to meet new people while doing something meaningful.
