Event description

Swoop along to learn what we can do in our communities and backyards to support wildlife, especially birds! Special presenter, Merryn Pryor - WA Black Cockatoo Project Coordinator at Birdlife Australia, will introduce you to your local birds and guide you through the basics of providing habitat in you garden - no matter the size, from plant selection to water and nesting resources, as well as how best to use the ReWild Perth website to help you plan.

Tickets are $10, and free for children under 15 years. Please note, that while children may enjoy the workshop, information will be catered toward an adult audience and parents must stay with children.

Light refreshments will be provided and each participant will go home with a seedling to kick start their ReWild journey!

This event is delivered by Birdlife Australia, powered by Perth NRM’s ReWild Perth Program in partnership with the South West Corridor Development Foundation, with support from the City of Fremantle.
