Feather-Friendly Gardening (Kwinana)
Event description
🐦 Swoop into action for wildlife!
Join us for an inspiring workshop on how we can create thriving habitats for wildlife—especially birds—in our communities and backyards. 🌱🏡
Our special guest, Merryn Pryor from BirdLife Australia, will introduce you to the feathered friends living in your neighbourhood and share practical tips for supporting them. Learn the essentials of habitat creation, from choosing the right plants to providing water and nesting resources, all tailored to gardens of any size. Merryn will also demonstrate how to make the most of the ReWild Perth website to plan your own wildlife-friendly space.
Please note: While children are welcome and may enjoy the session, the content is designed for an adult audience. Parents or guardians must stay with their children throughout the workshop.
🎟️ This is a free event, but registration is essential as places are limited.
☕ Enjoy light refreshments and take home a seedling to kick-start your ReWild journey! PLUS each registration enters a door prize draw from the City of Kwinana! 🎁🌿
