Decent quality watercolour paper: 300gsm cold pressed medium grain Canson, Fabriano, Arches, Saunders, Master's Choice (Bao Hong), The Paper House, are all good brands of varying price points. Decent quality watercolour tube paints in the following primaries: Ultramarine blue, Cerulean Blue, Burnt Sienna, Warm yellow, Cool yellow, Paynes Grey or Black, Indigo, Vermillion. Recommended brands: Van Gogh, Schmincke, Windsor and Newton, Daniel Smith, Holbein, Maimeri Blu. Paint brushes, Bring whatever you have in small to medium sized watercolour brushes, at least two round tipped and one liner (rigger) brush. Cloth to wipe your brushes on.
