FEBRUARY Dunedin Game Dev Meetup - Student & Graduate Game Design Showcase
Join us for an exclusive look at Otago University's COSC360 Computer Game Design projects and play test some games!
With huge thanks to CODE, University of Otago and Otago Polytechnic, we’re excited to be kicking the year off with 10 presentations from Otago University COSC360 Computer Game Design students.
Teams will be showcasing* their games and what they've created during their course, you'll hear directly from the awesome developers themselves, and a chance to play test the games too:
- Accursed Creature - top-down dungeon crawler
- Atlas: The Forgotten World - top-down puzzle-oriented exploration
- Black Pravda - puzzle-driven survival
- Chronodrive - puzzle-platformer
- Eclipse of Dunedin - side-scrolling platformer
- For Whom The Lighthouse Shines – voyeuristic eldritchian horror.
- Grim on Wheels – physics-based driving
- Interleaving - story-driven platformer
- Mutantropy - top-down action rogue-like
- Visitor From Above - platformer
*Some of the teams will be presenting remotely via live stream.

6:00pm - doors open
6:05pm - welcome and intro
6.10pm - Showcase begins: 10 teams from the COSC360 paper will have up to 10 minutes each to present and demo their game projects followed by Q&A.
7.30pm - eat, drink, mix and mingle, play games
8:30pm - close
