Feel Safe: Protective Behaviours for Young Adults

This workshop follows on from the introductory workshop Boundary Setting and Protective Behaviours.

This workshop targets strategies and skills to teach Protective Behaviours to young adults (aged 15 years to 30 years old). This workshop is designed to complement our free online eLearning platform Feel Safe: Protective Behaviours Education.

We suggest you complete our Boundary Setting and Protective Behaviours workshop before you attend Feel Safe: Protective Behaviours.

In the Feel Safe: Protective Behaviours workshop, we cover:

• Basics of Protective Behaviours

• The Feel Safe eLearning platform

• Problem solving and emergencies

• Wanted and unwanted touch

• Internet safety

• Pornography

This workshop is for parents, carers, students, teachers and health professionals. There is a limit of 3 participants from the same organisation.

This is a full day workshop with coffee/tea and biscuits provided. Please bring your own water bottle and lunch. We have a fridge and microwave that you’re welcome to use.

Please note: Basic Protective Behaviours Education knowledge is required as a prerequisite to this workshop.
