In alignment with WOA’s mission to bridge gender gaps, champion female leadership, and elevate musicians historically overlooked, this performance proudly spotlights female artistic direction and programming. The afternoon showcases Cécile Chaminade’s romantic Callirhoe Suite, Op. 37—bringing a vital female voice in classical composition to the forefront—led by Artistic Director & Founder Livia Gho and Associate Conductor Cindy H. Petty.

• Classical Love: Tchaikovsky’s dramatic Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture and Chaminade’s lush Callirhoe Suite, Op. 37.

• Movie Love: Heart-warming orchestral selections from Bernstein’s West Side Story and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera.
