Join us for the launch of the Global Education Fund for Women at Felicia & Friends - A Night of Music, Comedy and Dancing.

Laughter, music and dance all for a global cause! One Night, endless Impact!

This fund is being set up to support women and girls across the globe who would not get the opportunity to follow their education dreams.

Entertainment on the night includes musical performances, a band and the first comedy set ever by Felicia Welstead.  The night will end with dancing to the greatest tunes when DJ Thorpy hits the decks.  Fun-raising activities include a raffle, an auction and more! If you can donate any items for these activities we would love to hear from you!

More about the Global Education Fund for Women

This fund is the brainchild of Felicia Welstead who was lucky to spend a year as an exchange student in Lesotho in 1989. There she saw real poverty with girls being the most disadvantaged.
Together with her friend Ali Rehn they have created the Global Education Fund for Women to give young women a chance. Ali and Felicia believe we don't need anymore charities, but a fund can support the work that not-for-profits, schools and other organisations are doing in this space.  

In the first year we hope to raise $20,000 with funds raised going to support female students in Lesotho in Southern Africa and to teaching scholarships for women in South Africa. The dream is that each year we will add to these scholarships helping girls and women in different locations across the globe.
