FELLR PRESENTS A LAND OF FIZZ: A SHORT FILM, EXHIBITION & NIGHT OF MUSIC

FEAT ART BY. ELLIOTT ROUTLEDGE, MATT CHEUBINO, SAM BRUMBY

MUSIC BY,  ELIJAH SOMETHING, HONEY POINT & COMMAND D

FELLR invites you to a free evening of art, photography and music. Held within Pleasures Playhouse's abandoned cinema on Wednesday, 8 February, the special event will showcase work from highly regarded artists Elliott Routledge (Funskull) & Matt Cherubino, a short film screening by Sam Brumby, and a stacked lineup of some of Sydney's finest DJ's.

Following last year's inaugural 'A Land of Fizz', FELLR has returned to the land it's inspired by, empowering new creative work through the exploration of Australia's natural landscapes. This year with the Worimi Land Council Blessing, we invited contemporary abstract artist/sculptor Elliott, photographer Matt & Film Maker Sam out on Country to Worimi Conservation Lands. With mother nature as their muse, they were asked to find their fizz and create a new work inspired by this unfamiliar environment.

Providing the soundtrack for the night, we have Eora based DJs Elijah Something, Honey Point & Command D. Performing high-energy sets throughout the evening, guests can expect the best of Sydney's underground music scene, with expansive and groove-driven beats.

As the Land of Fizz series continues to bring some of the best local Artists and DJs together, don't miss heading to Pleasures Playhouse for an iconic night of art, music and celebration of the endless inspiration of the Australian landscape.

Arrive on time, as FELLR will also be shouting a drink on arrival and slinging $6 tins all night – don't be late!

We acknowledge the Worimi people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which this film was made, and pay our respects to their Elders past, present & emerging. We extend that respect to First Nations People from all parts of this land.
