Felt and Embroidery Essentials

This 6-week evening class with contemporary embroidery artist Lina Castro will explore the art of combining embroidery and felt to create beautiful, functional little objects. From needle cases to small multipurpose pouches, you’ll learn how to bring together stitch and texture to make something useful and uniquely yours! 
 
You’ll start by learning a range of embroidery stitches and how to attach small beads to your work. Then you’ll design and create your own templates for a case or pouch made from felt, and put all your new embroidery skills together for a one-of-a-kind design. 
 
This class is the perfect way to creatively relax and ensure some “me time” during the busy run up to summer!
