Event description

Interested in Felting Workshop?

Join us at Makerspace for this exciting Wet Felt making workshop!

Felt making is one of the oldest methods of textile production and is still used today to create clothing, bags, crafts and artwork. This workshop helps to share the rich history of felt making. Wet Felting uses temperature, water, soap, and agitation to bind wool fibres together, this process is used to produce a flat piece of fabric. With no experience required this hands-on felt making workshop is a great introduction to the world of felt making and textile crafting.
