Heritage Wet Felting: Make Your Own Wool Mittens

Learn a traditional craft and leave with your own pair of handmade wool mittens!

Join Aliza Novacek-Olson of Homespun Legacies for a hands-on wet felting workshop. You’ll learn how wool, warm water, soap, and plenty of hands-on work come together to create warm, durable felted mittens. Choose your colors and make them your own.

No experience is needed. Wet felting is a physical process that requires hand and arm strength and involves working with hot, soapy water.

💲 Cost: $40 per person + processing fee
👤 Minimum age: 15+
Registration required — space is limited.

Please bring:
• Two large towels
• Large plastic bag
• Cloth scissors
• Old T-shirt or apron
• Comfortable shoes
• Notebook and embellishments are optional

All wool and felting supplies are provided.

Come learn an old skill, get your hands a little wet, and make something you can actually use all winter!
