Description

Three bands. Zero filter. Maximum volume.

Blood, sweat and beers are on the menu as Link & Pin teams up with Coastal Twist Festival to deliver an unapologetic night of feminist punk, grunge, garage rock and riot-fuelled energy.

Feminine Products brings together three powerhouse acts who aren't afraid to take up space, make some noise and challenge the status quo. From political punk and grunge-soaked chaos to menopausal garage rock and grassroots feminist anthems, this lineup serves truth, attitude and seriously loud music.

Featuring:

Matriarch (Ngunnawal/Canberra)
Hot Mess (Gumbaynggirr/Bellingen)
The Cunning Linguists (Gadigal/Sydney)

Come ready for sharp tongues, big riffs, strong opinions and a celebration of women and gender-diverse artists doing things their own way.

The Cunning Linguists

The Cunning Linguists are an alternative political punk trio from Gadigal Country (Sydney), known for their unfiltered emotion, abrasive energy and chaotic live shows that blend '90s grunge with classic punk traditions.

Featuring Clare Easdown on lead vocals, Jade Ryan on guitar and Bart Gill on drums, the band delivers a fierce, uncompromising soundtrack to modern frustrations. As part of Coastal Twist Festival, they're heading to Link & Pin to yell obscenities about the state of the world.

Matriarch

Matriarch is an intersectional feminist punk/grunge band from Ngunnawal Country (Canberra). Known for clever songwriting and gutsy live performances, Matriarch is part of the growing riot women movement: older women defying expectations by playing loud, in-your-face rock music.

The band is stoked to be part of Coastal Twist Festival 2026, bringing a red-hot set of grassroots Aussie punk to Link & Pin.

Come get your ear chewed off.

Hot Mess

Hot Mess are a three-piece all-female punk band from the Bellinger River, Bindarray Yurruun, on Gumbaynggirr Country on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

Featuring Cole Flett (vocals, guitar), Jo Ware (vocals, drums) and Sarah Wright (vocals, bass), Hot Mess play original intersectional feminist, menopausal garage punk rock.

They have a lot to say and reckon that an old-school women's punk rock band is the perfect way to say it: loudly. 🎸🔥

Three bands. Three generations of rage, resistance and rebellion. One very loud night at Link & Pin.
