Event description

This 3-part online programme invites leaders from across all sectors to explore what feminist leadership means in practice, and how we can bring compassion, courage, and care into our leadership.

What you’ll gain:

  • Tools to lead with clarity, compassion, and courage.

  • A trauma-informed approach to power, communication, and care.

  • Practical strategies for embedding feminist values in your leadership.

  • Additional learning and resources to deepen your knowledge

  • Peer support and reflection spaces to sustain your practice.

What we'll do:

Session 1: Power (11 Nov, 1–3pm GMT)
In session 1, we’ll develop our own safer spaces framework to help us have honest conversations together in a supportive environment, sharing our hopes and concerns around our visions for leadership. We will reflect on how power shows up in our environment exploring what power means in different contexts.

Session 2: Communication (18 Nov, 1–3pm GMT)
In session 2, we will focus on holding courageous conversations compassionately: how do we listen with care and respond in ways that balance the needs of our team members and the organisation? How do we resolve and hold conflicts non-violently? We’ll draw on compassionate communication frameworks in this session.

Session 3: Care (25 Nov, 1–3pm GMT)
In session 3, we’ll think about how we can lead with care intentionally as we lead our teams.  We will look at the barriers to care and compassion in our teams and organisations using the support/challenge framework. We end the programme by reflecting on how we can bring all our learnings into our workplaces, recognising the challenges and complexities of doing this.

Who should come:

This programme is open to anyone in a leadership role, whether in charities, public services, social enterprises, or corporate organisations, who wants to explore feminist leadership and create lasting, compassionate change.

Facilitators:

Mansi and Ellie are part of the collective, an intersectional feminist group for consultants. Find out more here
