The Future Energy Exports CRC (FEnEx CRC) annual conference aims to showcase the ground-breaking industrially-relevant work being conducted by researchers and we encourage attendance by the FEnEx CRC community and all those interested in the energy transition. Our mission is to chart a path to decarbonised energy exports from cleaner LNG to green hydrogen, by contributing through industrial-scale innovation. FEnEx CRC has capability and works on developing technologies and policy-relevant research in areas such as LNG, natural gas, fugitive methane emissions, CCUS and decarbonisation of existing energy sources and exports.

The Future Energy Exports Cooperative Research Centre (FEnEx CRC) is an Australian not-for-profit organisation established to future-proof energy exports through industrial-scale research and innovation.

Australia has a long and very profitable heritage as an energy exporter. Now, our country has the opportunity to harness its world-class renewable energy resources and leverage the know-how, capability, infrastructure and supply chains of its existing LNG industry to cultivate a new, sustainable and competitive export industry and remain a leading provider of energy internationally.

To adapt to the changing global environment, new levels of efficiency must be achieved in all parts of the LNG value chain by reducing emissions, using less energy, delivering greater reliability and recovering more high-value by-products. Moreover, with the growing global need for cleaner energy, Australia should seize the opportunity to help grow the production, use and, ultimately, export of Hydrogen.

The Conference Dinner will be held at Yum Sing House, 22 Sutherland St, Melbourne VIC 3000 on the 1st May 2025.
