Fermented Foods have always been an integral part in recovering and maintaining Health. They allow us to thrive in a state of vibrant health, with abundant energy and a robust, adaptable and active immune system. Come along and learn why looking after your 'inner garden' (microbiome) is so important

We will be discussing Raw Foods, Sprouting Nuts, Seeds and Pulses, Water, Fasting, Detoxing, Saunas, Lymphatic Drainage, Digestion, Organics/Current Food Production, Simple Methods to Grow your own Food, Current Health Issues (apart from the ‘C’ word), and lots more….

Developing Healthier Eating Habits is a goal we should all be working towards, and this awokeshop is a great opportunity to learn how to make some simple, tasty, nutritious meals at home. You will be shown some simple health & longevity practices, and leave the awokeshop feeling confident to take them on.

We will also be discussing issues relating to food addictions, and beliefs that stop you choosing and implementing healthy habits....

This will be a taste bud-blowing sensation, with over 30 different ferments/foods to taste. It will be an informative, engaging and interactive experience, leaving you inspired.

You will have the knowledge and skills required to take responsibility for your health and wellbeing

MORNING (9am-12.30pm)

Green Smoothies, Beetroot Kvass, Sauerkraut, Kimchi, Carrot/Ginger, Viili Yoghurt, Pineapple Tepache

LUNCH

Featuring organic, homegrown and local produce – miso soup, salad, sprouts, ferments, hommus, flax crackers, spicy sprouted lentil crackers (all recipes included)

AFTERNOON (1.30-4.30pm)

Honey Mead, Honey/Ginger/Turmeric Ferment, Cacao Smoothie , Chia Pudding, Electrolyte Lemonade & Liposomal Vitamin C

*** All participants will receive over $50 worth of ferments/cultures to take-home, including: jars of fermented vegies made during the workshop, Viili Yoghurt Starter and a Kombucha Scoby.

*** All participants will also receives a comprehensive Fermenting Manual which covers all the recipes made during the day, including the lunch menu options.

About the Presenter - Tim McNeilly

Tim's been fermenting since the mid 90's, and been running the Workshops for over 10 years. He’s passion and unique teaching methods, will leave you inspired to take-on everything covered in the course, confident in the outcome of your creations at home.

His vast knowledge of gut health, diet, nutrition and detoxing, will be generously shared, opening up possibilities for you to become the master of YOUR own health

Prior to running the Fermenting Workshops, he was an avid motor-head, working on racing teams around the world (F1, Indycars, V8's, Rally's etc), and he was an accomplished Rally Navigator, winning numerous events. What a change it is to be where he is now, and thank-goodness he is teaching us how to eat healthier and to be healthy.
