    Event description

This is a hands-on workshop, where you will learn how to make your own fermented vegetables such as sauerkraut and kimchi, as well as fermented drinks such as kombucha and water kefir. The benefits of learning to make ferments at home are that they can be made at a fraction of the cost of store-bought, you have control over flavour and strength, and the microbial diversity of home ferments are far superior to store-bought. Fermenting is fun, easy and a great way to increase immunity while enhancing the flavour of your cooking! Come join us for a gut healing afternoon of fermenting fun!

Includes demonstration, recipe booklet, take-home starter kit and yummy tastings!
