Fernhill Walking Trail 2026

You are invited to have a look at stunning Fernhill Estate, via a 2.6 kilometre Fernhill walking trail open on Sunday only between 10:00am - 4:00pm. Site access will not be provided for visitors arriving after 3:00pm. 

Entry is free, and the walk takes in Fernhill Estate's green setting and the exterior of the homestead. Please note:

• As the 2.6-km walking trail includes stairs and uphill sections, visitors should wear enclosed walking shoes and have a good level of fitness

• Parking and toilet facilities are limited

• Please bring your own food and drinks - there is no on-site catering - and take away all rubbish

• There are 6 picnic tables available for the public to utilise

• No alcohol permitted

• Sorry, no dogs.

The Fernhill Walking Trail is a 2.6 km walking loop of Fernhill Estate. Limited parking is available on-site.

** Please access the Fernhill Walking Trail from the Hayshed gate. There is no public access through the main gate. Please do not use Safari Maps as you will be redirected to an incorrect location. **
