Fernhill Walking Trail 2025

Major restoration works are to be commenced shortly on the main house during these works visitors will not have access to the exterior of the homestead, we apologise for any inconvenience. However, visitors can still visit Fernhill Estate to experience the Fernhill Walking Trail.

You are invited to have an early look at stunning Fernhill Estate, via a 2.6 kilometre Fernhill walking trail open from 10:00am - 12:30 pm and 1:00pm - 4:00pm on Sundays only. 

Entry is free, and the walk takes in Fernhill Estate's green setting and the exterior of the homestead. Please note:

• As the 2.6-km walking trail includes stairs and uphill sections, visitors should wear enclosed walking shoes and have a good level of fitness
• Parking and toilet facilities are limited
• Please bring your own food and drinks - there is no on-site catering - and take away all rubbish
• No alcohol permitted
• Sorry, no dogs.

The Fernhill Walking Trail is a 2.6 km walking loop of Fernhill Estate. Limited parking is available on-site.

** Please access the Fernhill Walking Trail from the Hayshed gate. There is no public access through the main gate.**
