Ferragosto Spettacolo

Tucked away in Reservoir's industrial district is Open Factory - a converted factory space offering a warm, edgy feel for the perfect 'block party'. For one night only, we're transforming the space into a 'Piazza' to celebrate the greatest Italian holiday...Ferragosto! It is a time for friends and family to come together and celebrate music, food and great company. For those of us who couldn't make it to Italy this summer, we weren't going to miss out on an excuse to come together and also celebrate the coming of Spring.

The Spettacolo will feature curated entertainment, meshing together the worlds of old school sounds and new to create a 'Bomba' of Beats and Ballads; and food from local superstar businesses.

On stage we will be welcoming:

• World-Class Soprano Rebecca Gulinello - performing in both Italian and English, including dancefloor hits and an Opera showcase. This will be Rebecca's last Melbourne show before embarking on a massive tour with a hit Musical across Australia & New Zealand.

• Melbourne-based Italian DJ: Dischi Marcianò - an eclectic programmer and collector of Italian music across all genres, will be bringing some heat to the dancefloor with his own edits of our favourite popular and underground Italian bangers - including a special set together with Rebecca Gulinello.

• Celeste Joan - The charming, charismatic, Italian creator known for her Nonna skits, made her mark on TikTok with her relatable and hilarious skits. Celeste will be gracing us with some comedy and giving her fans a chance for a meet & greet over some sips & tips.

Food & Drink by:

• Beer, wine and Spritz cocktails at the Bar

• Italian street food by a collaboration with Abruzzo Lab, Piazza96, and the best gelateria in Melbourne, CONO!
