Event description

At this year’s Cygnet Folk Festival Feast, Gaumarjos will present a Georgian inspired supra, a feast with regular toasts and songs which immerse those present in ideas as well as Georgian food, drink and singing. 

Gaumarjos, meaning victory in Georgian, is a combination of The Melbourne Georgian Choir, Gorani and Tsinskaro, all specialising in traditional Georgian songs and chants.

Gaumarjos presents songs of love, good fortune, building the perfect house, horse riding, the perils of mountain climbing as well as glorious church songs and chants.
