Festival of Writing at Curtin
Event description
Join us for a celebration of writing in Western Australia, marking 50 years of creative writing and 25 years of professional writing and publishing at Curtin University.
Hear lively panel discussions on creativity and the archives, writing about place, and writing about relationships, as well as readings from established and new voices. The inaugural Liz Byrski Lecture will be delivered by Natasha Lester addressing the influence of Liz Byrski’s work on Natasha’s own life and fiction.
Other authors featured include Kim Scott, David Whish-Wilson, Renee Pettitt-Schipp, Tracy Ryan, Chemutai Glasheen, Khin Myint, and many more.
