Pour it Forward: Candle Making with CandleXchange
Description
Workshop Overview
Join CandleXchange for a hands-on, purpose-led candle-making experience that combines creativity, sustainability, and social impact.
In this 45-minute workshop, participants will:
Learn how to create and pour your own 300g soy wax candle in a scent of your choice, in a beautiful glass container to take home
Plus, create a second upcycled candle for which will be gifted to someone in need.
Discover why most candle containers aren't recyclable and the environmental cost of candle waste.
Learn about CandleXchange’s circular model, including our Return & Swap service and the UpCandle program, which transforms donated containers (from any brand) into new candles for local charities such as Relove.
Understand how conscious material choices and circular thinking can reduce waste and create social value.
This workshop is a meaningful way to connect, create, and contribute to a more sustainable and compassionate community. Suitable for ages 16+.
NOTE: The poured candles will need time to cool and set. Collect your take home candle at CandleXchange stall between 230-3pm or can be delivered via courier for $10.
