Event description

Join Us for a Joint 'Shut Up & Write' + HDR Social Networking Event!

We’re excited to announce an upcoming joint ‘Shut Up & Write’ and HDR Social Networking Event for HDR students in the Faculty of Health & Medical Sciences.

This event is a fantastic opportunity to take dedicated time to focus on your thesis writing, followed by a chance to connect with other HDR students from across the faculty in a relaxed, social setting.

Event Schedule:

🕤 9:30am – 12:30pm: Shut Up & Write
A focused, quiet session where you can concentrate on writing your thesis with minimal distractions.

🕧 12:30pm – 2:30pm: HDR Social Networking
Mingle with fellow HDR students over light refreshments. Share your experiences, discuss your research, and make new connections.

Why should you attend?

🔹 Focused Writing Time: Get into the flow with a dedicated writing session to work on your thesis. (Please bring a pen/paper or your laptop for this portion of the session.)
🔹 Networking: Meet and interact with fellow HDR students from across the faculty.
🔹 Collaboration: Discover shared research interests and potential collaboration opportunities.
🔹 Refreshments: Enjoy a casual setting with snacks and drinks as you connect with peers.

We believe this event will enrich your HDR experience by combining productivity with peer support and community building.

We look forward to seeing you there!
