Fibre Scape FeltLOOM Workshop
Event description
Create textured art from textile waste with Texture artist Simone Kottmann
Join Simone for our Fibre Scape FeltLOOM Workshop, a unique class that transforms textile waste into layered, tactile artworks using the FeltLOOM (only one in Victoria).
In this inspiring hands-on session, participants will:
🎨 Bring along a photo or image of an urban or rural landscape that holds meaning to them
♻️ Learn how to select and layer textile scraps to reflect textures, tones, and depth
🧵 Use the FeltLOOM to felt their fabric into a one-of-a-kind fibre artwork
Simone will guide you through the creative process—sharing her techniques, encouraging experimentation, and helping you bring your chosen landscape to life through fibre.
No felting experience needed—just a willingness to explore and create!
All materials provided (except your image). Spaces are limited.
