Event description

Aim:
This course aims to teach members of the Flood Intelligence Reserve (FIC) basic skills when using the waterRIDE flood forecasting system.

Objectives:

Get up to speed with importing data and building projects/views, project building, new data import, model conversion, metadata, hazards, envelopes, difference mapping, optimising datasets, and an intro to flood intelligence.

    Assumed knowledge/Prerequisites:

    It is assumed course particpants have comepleted the on training for WaterRIDE "Viewer" 

    Course Details

    • Building a new project
    • Bringing in model results

    Facilitator:

      Facilitators provided by Worley Parsons (WaterRIDE)

      Venue:

      • This is online training.
      • A TEAMS meeting request will be sent to participants via calendar invite prior to training.
      • Login details will be provided on the day.

      What will I need to bring:

      • Your laptop with a minimum of 2 screens, a mouse, keyboard and charger
      • Pen and paper

      Catering:

      No catering will be supplied.
