Field Day: Upper Wooroloo Brook Catchment

A look back 30 years post-restoration

We will tour 2-3 sites in the Upper Catchment and discuss:

1. History of the sites and the issues that the Revegetation Project aimed to address.

2. Successes arising from the approach taken 30 years ago, what are the lessons we can take forward?  

3. Celebrate and understand the long term benefits of revegetation and landscape remediation.

4. Hear from past leaders of Wooroloo LCDC that were the key players in the restoration, a landholder who will discuss the project’s implementation and impact, and Sonny Vitale from Perth NRM who will present on landscape functioning – then and now.
