Event description

The stunning, intact landscapes of the Kimberley and the rich culture of its Aboriginal custodians are at risk.

Frackers are the closest they have ever been to turning the region into an industrial wasteland and wrecking the climate in the process.

ENVIRONS KIMBERLEY teamed up with Kimberley Traditional Owners, Lock the Gate Alliance, climate scientists and economists from The Australia Institute to produce "Fighting Giants" and we can’t wait to share this ode to the Kimberley and urgent call to action with you, your family, and your friends. ‘Fighting Giants" is a rallying call to defend so many things that West Australians value: the stunning, intact landscapes of the Kimberley, our fragile climate, and Aboriginal culture and land.

SEED INDIGENOUS YOUTH CLIMATE NETWORK created "Water is Life"
is a documentary about the Aboriginal communities fighting against fracking plans in the NT. They learn from First Nations brothers and sisters in the US who are suffering the effects of greedy gas companies, and call on you to join their fight.

We will give a campaign update and share important tips on how people can take urgent action to help Kimberley communities stop fracking.

This event will suit people new to the campaign, as well as those who are engaged and eager to find out what they can do. Please bring a friend or get a group of people together!

Tickets are FREE.

We are planning for more powerful actions next year, please join us and together we can ensure we have a Frack Free Kimberley!
