Figure Drawing with Harpist Leng Bian
Description
Hello lovely artist!
We’re creating this event to connect musical and visual artists through the medium of figure drawing. Harpist Leng Bian (@maiden__china) will be costumed figure modeling in an angelic sheer white dress, on a staged set curated by Ames Hoang (@mangothemaker). Expect creamy white drapery as the background to this scene. Poses will be quick and gestural to start, gradually moving onto longer poses, and ending with a seated performance piece by our model.
Artists of all levels are welcome. If you don’t have drawing utensils, we’ll have a couple pads and papers as well as an array of markers, pencils, charcoal, and more!
We will also have complementary tea and snacks available at a table in the back. The seating arrangement will include some pillows on mats on the ground and a couple tables and folding chairs at the back. Please BYO pillow or comfy chair if you prefer!
Our session will begin promptly at 7:00pm, but you are welcome to enter the space at any time.
